Why do I need insurance?
Insurance provides financial protection in the event of unexpected loss or damage, offering you peace of mind and the ability to recover from potential hardships.
Where are your offices based?
Our head office is based in George in the Western Cape but we are more than capable of meeting your needs across the country.
How do I change my bank details?
Your banking details and debit date can be updated any time on your Manage Portal. You may need to enter a One Time Pin (OTP) for updates to your banking details. If your product does not reflect, or if you cannot log into your Manage Portal, contact us on 0861 368 7873 or email u2us@dotsure.co.za.
How do I submit a claim?
Whether you have a Pet, Motor, or Household policy, the easiest way to submit a claim is on your Manage Portal. If you have a business policy, you can get in touch with your dedicated consultant who can guide you to submit a claim. If you have any trouble, you can call 0861 368 7873 or e-mail u2us@dotsure.co.za.
How long until a claim is paid out?
Once we receive all the required documentation and information to process your valid claim, we usually pay out within 48 hours.

How do I amend my policy details?
You can make changes to both your policy and personal details on your Pet, Car, or Household policy any time on your Manage Portal. You'll be prompted to login with your ID number, and you will need to enter the OTP that we send to the phone number on your policy. If you have a business policy, you can amend your details by getting in touch with your dedicated consultant. Alternatively, you can call us on 0861 368 7873, or e-mail u2us@dotsure.co.za and one of our friendly consultants will gladly assist you.
Do I need to register to manage my policy online?
You don't need to register to access your Manage Portal. All you have to do is follow this link and follow the easy steps. Should you experience any issues, please call us on 0861 368 7873 or email u2us@dotsure.co.za.
What is an excess payment?
An excess payment is the first amount payable that you are responsible for in the event of a valid claim. Generally, a higher excess gives you a lower premium, but it also means you will have to pay more in the event of a claim.
What are policy documents?
Policy documents include your policy schedule and policy wording. The policy schedule tells you the specific details of your cover and the policy wording has the full terms and conditions of the product you have selected and the agreement between us. These documents should always be read together.
